No Quick Cellulite Solution, Just Old-Fashioned Exercise And Nutrition

In today’s busy and fast-paced, hustle and bustle society, we don’t like to wait. When waiting in lines of any kind, people tend to become fidgety, irritable, angry and outright belligerent at times. We want what we want, and we want it yesterday! The same is true in the area of health and fitness as well. Nobody likes or enjoys having the flabby cellulite protruding out of their shorts, yet we don’t want to do the work it requires to fix the problem. In seeking a cellulite solution, there are no quick-fix, take-a-pill answers. Cellulite is stored body fat that is in the adipose tissue of the skin, and it didn’t get there overnight. Exercise and dietary nutrition are by far the best ways to overcome this unattractive and unhealthy problem of modern times.

Eating And Exercising Well: A Healthy Cellulite Solution

While we are bombarded with the media telling us to eat healthy and exercise, and we know that it is a good thing to do, many just lack the motivation to do so. Changing one’s unhealthy lifestyle is not an easy task, and it can be extremely overwhelming if you try to change everything at once. Cellulite is just a symptom of an underlying problem. It is not the problem itself. The solution for cellulite is two-fold; exercise and diet. First, exercise will help increase circulation to the area where cellulite normally resides. In women (who tend to have cellulite much more than men because of carrying more body fat for reproduction) the cellulite is on the outer thigh, hip and buttocks area. When the circulation is increased, the fat tissue begins to break up and smooth out, causing a less “cottage cheesy” look.

There are specific exercises that target the cellulite areas, and these can be performed while lying on the side, kneeling on the elbows and knees, and standing up. As part of your cellulite solution, one good exercise is to bend down on your elbows and knees and gently lift one leg to the ceiling. This exercise should be done 10 times on each leg. Next, bend your knee and press the heel toward the ceiling for 10. The burning sensation that you will experience is a good sign that the stored fat is being worked and turned into muscle.

With regard to nutrition, there are many different dietary approaches to fat and weight loss, yet a good amount of protein is necessary to build and restore muscle, while also helping one to burn body fat. Good choices of protein include lean meats, such as bison or venison, lean chicken and turkey and healthy fish. Egg whites are also a good source of protein as well. Limiting the amount of starchy carbohydrates in one’s diet can contribute to weight loss as well. Over time, when following a healthy daily exercise routine as well as incorporating good eating practices, results can and will be achieved, and a cellulite solution will have been found.
